Guns! We need more guns!

Gov Announce £9.7 billion arms business!
While the rest of the country are experiencing High food, electric gas and oil prices, Home Repossession and job losses, the UK Trade and Investment announced they had secured a £9.7 billion business deal selling death and destruction world wide. This catapults London, (or rather the government, 10 Downing Street) into the top slot as the biggest arms seller (or rather Gun Runners) in 2007. The Government has a clear path to hold the mantle for the next several years having left the total arms exports of the United States in the dust? 10 Downing Street which has its ‘Guns R Us’ warehouse situated in the trendy Docklands area now accounts for a staggering third of global arms exports!! Mr Digby Jones, the minister trade and investment said, “It is an outstanding export performance”.

Its completely beyond belief that this sod is patting himself on the back for selling death and misery on a global scale and is proud to report to the public that the UK arms industry is one of the worlds most technologically sophisticated? How he can call selling the means to blowing another person to bits ‘sophisticated’ is anyone’s guess!!
It is without doubt that now the government hold the title of the biggest gun runners in the universe for 2007, but somewhere down the line they must have armed the ‘alleged’ terrorists that are supposedly waging a war upon us? Not even the High Court can stop dodgy munitions deals going through. BAE Systems only recently scraped through the legal challenge with the help of the attorney general and of course Tony Blair?? Ironically Blair was one of the biggest gun runners on the planet during his time in office, and now becomes a peace broker for the Middle East?? What the hell is all that about????? Its like sending a fox into a hen house dressed as a chicken!! Under his ruthless leadership Downing Street was made into a formidable over the counter munitions ordering centre that would sell to anyone with a wad of folding cash.

Mark Thomas of Channel 4 did an expose of the government showing the business suit end of arms trading is worse than looking down the barrel end? He took the clients from their hotel to the 2006 London Docklands Arms Expo on a hired bus and even got them to chip in money for the poor unfortunate sods caught in the crossfire that these business psycho’s were selling their guns to! The Times reported the revenue for the last five years of arms dealership in order of monetary dollar value.

Great Britain $53 Billion
Russia $33 Billion
Is this why the government have introduced new legislation to take knives off the streets? They hate the competition!
